Karma International Art Space Zurich

Karolina Danków has been working as an independent art critique for Neue Zürcher Zeitung and magazines such as contemporary and monopol. She has worked for Galleria Laurin and Freymond-Guth & Co in Zürich and curated a groupshow with Polish artists at Galleria Laurin.
Together with Annelise Coste and Flavia Horat she has founded the performance group “Dysfunctional Pyramid Girls”.

Marina Leuenberger has been working for Galleries such as Mark Müller in Zürich, Anton Kern and Gavin Brown’s Enterprise in New York. She was working for Neue Kunst Halle St. Gallen and has curated a show at Kunsthalle Palazzo Liestal.

WHO WE ARE

Karma International is an art space established in September 2006 and is
curated by Marina Leuenberger
and Karolina Danków.

Our aim is to build up a network with
emerging artists in an international context.

We are interested in outstanding positions
of high quality with an intellectual approach,
a critical impact and a healthy way of
self reflection within the art scene.

We collaborate with young artists
who are not yet widely known
but who have a strong potential.

It is our aim to give them a platform
not only in Zurich but also to link them
to international galleries, institutions and artists.
In order to reach that goal there are
collaborations with various art spaces and
galleries.

KARMA International is an Association and was founded by Karolina Dankow, Marina and Christian Leuenberger.
