But the notion "object" also bears a fetishizing character - an object can be an unachievable dream, an eternal, intangible aim. The group show "Objects" with Tea Djordjaze, Martin Soto Climent, Jordan Wolfson and Matt Johnson deals with this phenomenon and at the same time tries to fathom -in the broadest sense- the forms of contemporary sculpture. On the one hand, there is the focus on stocktaking: How do young artists from different countries and with different backgrounds approach the topic "sculpture"? What are the tendencies that are discernable within the new sculpture?  On the other hand, it also becomes important to look back at the roots of present-day trends: the Ready Made, surrealistic, constructivist Dadaistic influences, but also Arte Povera and Minimal Art.
